The business
The approach was not to automate recurring processes one at a time but to model them on a shared platform - with AI as a component rather than a product promise. Development began as a proof of concept meant to show whether the approach held beyond individual use cases.
Our role
We were involved as a shareholder and accompanied the technical development. The investment fell into a period when it had to become clear how far generic automation platforms carry against purpose-built solutions - a question that shaped our later investment logic.
The exit
The stake was sold. What we took from the investment now sits in our selection criteria: substance before growth, and proximity to the business as the precondition for being able to contribute at all.
