The investment matches exactly what we select for: proprietary technology at the core, leadership building the company over years, and a field where we can judge for ourselves whether a decision holds. The distributed setup between Europe and Africa is not a cost argument - it opens access to engineers who are hard to find elsewhere.
What the holding contributes
Here the holding goes beyond the role of a shareholder: management sits with it. Strategy, technical direction and building the organisation are owned, not merely attended to. That limits how many holdings we can sensibly lead - and is why there is one active investment rather than several.
